Brindisi Airport

Brindisi Airport also known by the names of Papola Casale Airport or Aeroporto del Salento is located in Southern Italy. It is so called because it is located three kilometers north of the beautiful and picturesque Italian seaport town of Papola Casole. This is a hotspot for tourist attractions and it handles most of the passengers coming to Apulia in southern Italy. This is a part of the Aeroporti di Puglia. The other three airports belonging to Aeroporti di Puglia are Foggia, Taranto and Bari.

You should follow the SS613 route in case you want to go to Lecce; it is a 45 kilometer route that does not normally take more than 45 minutes.

A local bus can take you to the city center at Brindisi, the greatest convenience being that they are arranged in connection with the arrival and departure times of flights at the Brindisi Airport. The ticket costs 3 Euros. There is local bus service to Lecce as well and even that journey from the airport to Leece will take you 45 minutes.
